We will teach you nothing.

Some of the best advice I was ever given as an acting student was that you cannot rely on anyone but yourself to make you a good actor. It requires discipline, extremely hard work, one million hours of reading and even more time of watching. Watching shows, watching people walk down a street, watching. Critically watching and taking notes on what it is you’re seeing and why things are the way they are.

The work of an actor is never over, and even when you think you have mastered something, you will soon learn there is even more to learn.

Where The Acting Space comes in is to teach the actor the tools required to master the skill of acting. We will work on diction and annunciation, voice, body, movement, actions, motivations and intentions. We will work on outer ease. We will work on creating a need. We will work on making sure the words you are saying come with clarity but also flow in a natural way that is true to yourself. We will work on learning who you are as an artist and how you can truly hone your craft.

So yes. I will teach you nothing. But I will teach you the tools you need to teach yourself.

Are you ready?
